NASA Goddard’s Jennifer Eigenbrode in her lab, describing how Earth rocks are being used to help calibrate SAM operations. All of the sample analysis done by the equipment behind her is being fitted into the Sample Analysis at Mars (SAM) instrument – the size of a large microwave oven!
